Sandlewood Manor is one of the most unique wedding venues in Houston. Its massive 27-acre property, antebellum manor house, and HUGE ballroom are only part of its charm.
The real treasure of Sandlewood Manor is their commitment to their couples and their mission to strengthen marriages with their Love for A Lifetime events.
We can honestly say we have never met venue owners with such a heart for their couples and for that reason it is one of our favorite venues in Houston.

Sandlewood Manor boasts a 10,000-square-foot ballroom adorned with 13 crystal chandeliers and granite fireplaces. The granite fireplaces add a touch of warmth and elegance, while the crystal chandeliers cast a romantic glow over your reception. It's the perfect canvas for creating the wedding reception of your dreams. The ballroom's grandeur is sure to leave a lasting impression. It is one of the larger ballrooms we’ve been in, which makes it perfect for an absolute rager of a wedding reception.

Sandlewood Manor is more than just a venue; it's a partner in your journey to wedded bliss.
This begins before your wedding with an offer of free dance classes to help you and your beloved shine on the dance floor. I know that Sandlewood Manor’s owners, Shawn and Lauren, personally pray for each of their couples and their wedding.
But their commitment to your marriage extends beyond the big day through their Love for a Lifetime events. Sandlewood hosts quarterly date nights in the ballroom including entertainment, food and drink, and dancing. Couples who get married at Sandlewood Manor are able to attend these events for free in their first year of marriage. They also host “Dinner with a Purpose” which is a more intimate multi course dinner in the manor house. These dinners feature a message about important aspects of marriage, such as unity or communication.
Having personally attended these events, we can say that Sandlewood Manor is committed to marital success in a way we have never experienced from a wedding venue in Houston.

The beauty of Sandlewood Manor is that you can tie the knot here anytime of the year. Their stunning indoor spaces mean that weather won't rain on your parade or that the summer heat won’t make you and your guests miserable. Whether you dream of a springtime garden wedding, a cozy winter wonderland, or a vibrant summer soirée, Sandlewood Manor has the flexibility to make your vision a reality.
Sandlewood Manor Getting Ready Spaces
Groom's quarters
Bridal Suite
Located on the second floor of the manor house, the bridal suite offers four glamour vanities and beautiful natural light. It's spacious and filled with plush furniture, providing the perfect atmosphere for pre-wedding pampering. You and your bridal party will be able to relax and drink champagne with plenty of room while you prep for your wedding day.
Sandlewood Chapel
With space for 300 guests, this chapel features Carrara-style Marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and vaulted ceilings. While you exchange vows in this elegant space, your guests will be treated to a visual feast of stunning architecture and craftsmanship. It's a setting that's both intimate and awe-inspiring. From a photo perspective, we’re never fans of large windows as a backdrop to the ceremony, but that’s a minor gripe for an otherwise beautiful space.
Sandlewood manor ceremonies
This is the most popular ceremony location, accommodating up to 400 guests. You'll have a beautiful view of the manor house as your backdrop, or you can opt for a glimpse of the horses (our suggestion is the manor house). The Pecan Orchard offers a natural, rustic charm that's perfect for outdoor ceremonies. The manor house provides a picturesque backdrop, making your wedding absolutely stunning.
The Pecan Orchard
The century Oak
A massive oak tree that's perfect for a romantic ceremony. Picture yourself standing beneath the shade of this centuries-old oak tree, surrounded by your loved ones. It's a moment straight out of a fairy tale.
If you’re set on The Pecan Orchard or the Century Oak, consider a fall or spring wedding to avoid summer heat or winter weather.
Everything from the engagement session to preparing for the wedding to day of, they made the whole process seamless. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Somehow they were able to take you back in time and make you remember each moment with every photo.

Plus, there's a stage for live entertainment.
The Manor House

And of course, you can always stay anywhere in Houston if you don't mind a short drive (short by Houston standards, that is)
