About The Venue
Since Keith and Sarah Walters founded Walters Wedding Estates in 2005, their two Ashton Gardens locations have become enormously successful, with Ashton Gardens even being included in the Knot’s Best of Weddings Hall of Fame. While both Ashton Gardens locations offer similar venue spaces (i.e., wedding suites, chapels, ballrooms, and outdoor spaces), there are some differences between the two. The main difference is that the North Houston location can accommodate 225-275 guests in its chapel and 225 guests in its ballroom, whereas the West Houston location can accommodate 300 guests in both its chapel and its ballroom. Other than differing in terms of size, both sites are relatively similar in terms of their spaces and aesthetics.
Ashton Garden’s Venue Spaces
The North and West Houston locations of Ashton Gardens feature similar venue spaces to ensure that every couple’s wedding day is filled with beauty and joy from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Some of these spaces include:
Getting Ready

The groom’s suite offers similar opportunities for rest and relaxation, with high-quality leather furniture, full-length mirrors, and amenities such as TVs and foosball tables. Both suites are roomy and spacious, making them suitable for large wedding parties, and each provides a calm retreat for brides and grooms to connect with their close friends and family members before taking their big trip down the aisle.
When planning a wedding, it’s essential to ensure every aspect of the day is both functional and stylish. Ceremony
Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the forest just beyond, the chapel at Ashton Gardens is a serene location in which to appreciate the beauty of nature without needing to worry about the weather. Couples enter the chapel through a warm, stately pair of mahogany wood doors and walk down a center aisle, flanked on both sides by elegant white pews. Although both chapels offer couples an expansive altar with plenty of room to exchange vows, the true highlight of each chapel is likely the custom white oak timber wood frames adorning the wood beam ceiling. All of these details work together to create a ceremony space that is as warm and inviting as it is beautiful.
Portrait Locations
For many couples, the time they spend together in their first few minutes after saying “I do” is the highlight of their wedding day. Always remember your intimate first hour as newlyweds by taking portraits together on the grounds of Ashton Gardens, which are well-manicured and styled to always look their best. Spend a moment together underneath the expansive pergola overlain with flowers, or capture a picture together on one of the stone benches or charming patio area. There’s simply no shortage of beautiful spots for portraits at Ashton Gardens.
Reception
After taking portraits, enjoy a show-stopping moment as you descend the grand staircase into the ballroom, where floor-to-ceiling windows and crystal chandeliers provide beautiful accents to an airy, spacious room. With plenty of space for dinner and dancing — and with dinner provided by a five-star Executive Chef who has customized the menu to perfectly meet your needs — you can wind down your wedding day with good food, good friends, and plenty of good fun.
