We are kind of obsessed with Molly and Rick, whose wedding was a magical celebration of love and personal touches. I had the pleasure of capturing their special day at McGovern Centennial Gardens, and here’s a sneak peek into the details they shared with me.

Molly and Rick were buzzing with excitement about several key moments on their wedding day – the first look, the ceremony, the speeches, and, of course, the dance floor.
Rick opted for a midnight blue tux with black decals, aiming for a formal yet standout look. Molly stunned in a classic white satin gown with a beautiful bow in the back. She wore her sister’s Vera Wang veil, silver/gold flats (so she didn’t tower over Rick!), and her grandmother’s pearls with matching pearl/emerald earrings.
Choosing McGovern Centennial Gardens was a no-brainer for Molly and Rick. Their love story began when they both lived next to Hermann Park, making it their happy place in Houston. The garden setting was a perfect fit for Molly’s dream of an outdoor wedding.
Molly and Rick infused their personalities throughout the day. A close friend, Elizabeth, officiated the ceremony, and little personal touches about them were sprinkled throughout.
The main inspiration for the wedding decor was Molly’s ring, featuring emerald, other greens, and gold. The decor, including DIY elements by Molly’s talented sister Kristin, featured a delightful mix of elegance and personal flair.
For the dance floor, Molly changed into a short white dress with rainbow-colored stars all over it and sparkly white Kate Spade sneakers – ready to be comfy and rage!
Molly and Rick’s advice to other couples planning their wedding is simple – “Hire the Ramseys! And a planner LOL :)”
