We met Edwin and Angela last May at Angela’s sister’s wedding. As we made the rounds at the end of the night to say goodbye before leaving, Angela’s mom said to us, “Well, I’ll see you two at Angela’s wedding.” We were excited because their family is fantastic, but we had no idea it would be so soon!
Last fall, Edwin proposed to Angela. And we’re so excited they asked us to be their wedding photographers. It’s always great when we work with couples we know from other weddings. We love getting to see our old couples again at their friend’s weddings and its such an honor that the trusted us enough to recommend us.
Paige photographed Ryan and Jessica’s engagement pictures at Hermann Park and Edwin and Angela’s proposal at McGovern Centennial Gardens. So to keep Edwin and Angela’s engagement pictures at Hermann Park from looking just like her sister’s engagement pictures at Hermann Park, I photographed them.
Hermann Park in May is hot and overrun with prom groups. It is one of the most popular locations in Houston for photos. Almost every time we stopped somewhere to take a picture, there was someone waiting to use the same spot. But Edwin and Angela have so much chemistry that they were able to look comfortable and connected even with people watching them. Angela was also stopped three times by someone to tell her how beautiful she looked.
And those people were absolutely right. But most people didn’t stick around long enough to see how great Edwin and Angela look together. They’re just perfect.
Check out Edwin and Angela’s engagement pictures below. Leave them some love in the comment section or contact us to schedule your own engagement portraits!
Hermann park is absolutely amazing. This is actually a parking lot. This lens is actually manual focus. So, not pictured, is the line of people waiting for me to get focus and get my shot so they can use this location.
I asked Edwin to kiss Angela on the cheek as many times as he could in 10 seconds. He immediately asked, “Is there a record?”
I think he might be competitive.
