Butler’s Courtyard Wedding | Travis & Meredith
I’ve never met a family that laughs more often and more deeply than Meredith’s family. I doubt one exists. And Travis, who is hilarious, fits in just perfectly with them. Because of that, this Butler’s Courtyard Wedding was one of the most hilarious and joyous weddings we’ve ever attended.
Normally, it’s my (Wil) job to get the groomsmen and bridesmaids to laugh. But Meredith and Travis had that under control. We never once had to ask people to smile, or tell a bad joke, because being around someone as infectiously happy as Meredith and Travis made everyone happier. It, of course, wasn’t a surprise to us after their engagement session.
You can see it in their photos with their wedding party, you can see it in their couples portraits where Meredith stood behind Travis and he pretended her arms were his, and you can see it in the way they react to one another.
But more than that, everyone at their wedding was ready to have a good time. The groomsmen were helpful and fun. The bridesmaids were kind and supportive. You can see in the reception photos that everyone is just having the time of their lives. From shotgunning beers to a makeshift second line, the reception was a blast.
And why not? They were celebrating two of the happiest people they’ve ever met being totally in love. And they are TOTALLY in love. You just have to see the way Meredith looks at Travis to know it. Or the way Travis makes every joke and then looks at Meredith to see her laugh.
And to top it all off, the weather was beautiful. The sun was shining and it was just cool enough for an outside wedding. And Butler’s Courtyard is a beautiful venue with the most helpful staff. Between the weather, the location, and the staff, a Butler’s Courtyard Wedding goes as smoothly as I can imagine.
