To make the most of their time on their wedding day, and so that we wouldn’t miss any of the important stuff (people she loves being together), Sarah opted to have her flat lay details done ahead of time at her bridal session.
They kicked off the day at the C. Baldwin Hotel, getting ready surrounded by their closest friends and family.
The excitement was real as Sarah slipped into her Antonio Gual dress from Unbridaled Austin.
Austin and the groomsmen wore suits from The Black Tux.
Before the ceremony, Sarah and Austin had a special moment where they exchanged notes. It was a sweet and personal touch before they had their “first look” before their ceremony at the Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism.
Their ceremony was short and meaningful, featuring the traditional breaking of the glass that added a bit of celebration to the end of their vows.
After the ceremony, we headed over Nouveau Antique Art Bar for portraits with the couple and their wedding party. The energy was high, and Sarah and Austin’s crew was all about having fun in front of the camera. We took classic shots of the whole group but also made time for some laid-back, candid moments with each member of the wedding party.
The party moved to Nouveau Art Bar, a totally unique wedding venue in Houston, for a laid-back reception that was totally their style. Guests enjoyed an awesome charcuterie grazing table during cocktail hour, but the highlight was when the Burger Joint food truck rolled up. Sarah and Austin are big fans of the spot, and it was the perfect way to bring a personal touch to dinner.
To keep things fun, they hired an artist to draw guests throughout the night, adding a unique element to their reception. The dance floor was packed, with Sarah and Austin sharing their first dance to “All Your’n” by Tyler Childers, keeping the vibe relaxed and real. As the night wound down, they opted for a fun bubble exit, sending them off into married life surrounded by all their favorite people
